Here is Peaches the cat. She lived to be 20 years old. She was born at our house (her mother was Anne-Marie’s cat Taffy) in Terre Haute, IN. She came with us to Manasass, VA and then moved again when my parents retired to Columbia, SC.
Here is the program from my grandfather’s (Frank Wilkinson) funeral.
Here is Frank Wilkinson’s contact card from St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. Not sure why this got kept. But I scanned it and posted it here. This would have been some time in the early to mid 1980’s while he was living in Lexington, SC between the time that his wife died (1982) and he died (1986).
After nine months of being close, the Brazil, IN Glen-Gery Plant re-opened. Initially 60 people were laid off and 29 people were brought back. My father, Bob Wilkinson, is interviewed in the local paper. This would have been during the Early 1980’s Recession, also known as the “Reagan Recession”.
Another item for the “why would anyone keep this” file. Now that I have scanned it and posted it here I can throw it away.
